Uno Stereo, Mari & Majerle team up for a vocoder-heavy banger. The legacy of Roger Troutman comes alive on “Keep Up,” the latest collaboration from Uno Stereo, Mari, and Majerle.
Uno Stereo is actually the alter ego of producer Nic Martin, who has previously worked with 360 & Illy. On this latest cut, Uno provides a beat that’s heavy on the vocoder, and even heavier on the vintage vibes. It’s an uplifting, upbeat banger, the closest thing to hip-hop disco in recent memory.
The bars are provided courtesy of Chicago’s Mari and Majerle, and the former stands out with his witty lyricism and refreshing flow. Check this one out when you have a second, you won’t regret it.
