Rapsody continues her #JamRocFridays. Last week marked the first release of Rapsody’s #JamRocFridays series in the form of the Nottz-produced record “The Pain.”
As she continues the sequence of new drops, she follows up “The Pain,” and its accompanying visual with “The Point,” a cut produced by none other than 9th Wonder, featuring songstress Nai Palm of the acclaimed Australian collective Hiatus Kaiyote.
All together, the assemblage makes for a rather soulful take that falls into line with all three names’ catalogs.
The last time we were gifted with a full-length effort from the North Carolina emcee was with the release of 2016’s Crown.
Let’s hope that this new series and a steady flow of new tunes signals a new body of work from Rapsody in the near future.
